The Artist & Journey
Hey, I’m Andreea Iancu, a 27-year-old visual storyteller from Romania, now turning my lifelong passion for capturing moments into something more.
For as long as I can remember, I was always the friend people turned to for photos. Whether it was a casual phone snap for social media or a travel shot on the go, my friends trusted me to catch the right vibe. Back then, it was just for fun, just with a phone, just for the memories. But somehow, it always meant more to me.
Over time, I started to realize how much I love telling stories through images, not just for friends, but for anyone who wants to freeze a beautiful moment in time. That spark of passion has grown into something I want to share with the world.
Now I’m turning that passion into a profession. Photography is more than a job, it’s a way of seeing the world, and helping others see the beauty in their own.
One think that i know for sure is that when you create from the heart, it always shows.

The story of me
When I started chasing this dream, I spent a lot of time searching for a name that felt like me, something that captured both my style and my purpose in photography.
“Moments” came naturally. That’s what I care about most, freezing real, meaningful moments that make you feel something. Whether it’s a soft glance, a laugh in motion, or quiet light at sunset, I want each photo to tell a story beyond the frame.
"Iancu" it’s my last name, but more than that, it’s my father’s. Even though he wasn’t a professional photographer, he had an eye for moments that mattered. I remember how he used to send us photos while traveling, how he quietly documented family stories in his own way, simple, but full of soul. Looking back, I realize he had a vision. A quiet one, but real. So I chose to carry his name, not just because it’s mine, but because through this journey, I get to keep a part of him alive. Every photo I take is a continuation of the way he saw the world.
Beyond the lens, I come from a very different world: I work a 9–5 job in the automotive industry, have a degree in Economic Cybernetics, and a master’s in Human Resources. I know, it’s a bit of a mix. But photography is where I feel most alive, most myself. It’s where passion meets purpose. And that’s what this space is all about - real moments, honestly captured.

Let’s create more than memories. Let’s create something that lasts.
Join me on this visual journey. I can't wait to tell your story. ❤️
